A special message from your FETA President -

Hello, my name is Larry Roselle, and I’m honored to be your President of FETA. I’d like to personally thank all of our Trail Owners for your continued support and allowing our members to ride across your beautiful trails. I’d like to also thank all of our volunteers who have contributed to the cleanup of our trails post-Hurricane Helene.

You are watching a short presentation of just a small part of the damage caused by the hurricane. The work has been tremendous and together we have made great progress. More than 75% of the trails are open and safe to ride because of your help. Some of the work, though, has required professional crews with heavy equipment. We have, to date, spent more than $36,000 to get to this point. The trails and your safe riding experience is worth this investment.

The remaining work will also require professional work. This is where we need your help. In order to fund the remaining cleanup, we need your donations and continued membership. When you renew your membership, you will see a minimum, one-time assessment to help cover the remaining cleanup expense. This fee, which is an addition to the regular membership dues, will be $75 for family memberships and $50 for individual memberships. The amount raised through this assessment will help reopen the remaining trails. If you can spare more than that, we’d be eternally grateful. We will also be reaching out to community partners and holding other fundraising events throughout the year to try to rebuild our reserves for the next major hurricane or climate event. Please be on the lookout for that.

Thank you and Happy Trails!
